Sahithi , a girl from Andhra Pradesh is creating ripples in a national level singing show. She entered ‘x factor’, a singing reality show being telecast in sony tv and despite her Telugu background she is giving the other contestants, all from Hindi heart land , a run of their money

Sahithi, a 24 year old software engineer in Infosys from Hyderabad is not a stranger to Telugu television viewers.She earlier participated in several singing reality shows and stood first in zee telugu show “saregamapa” in 2008. She was a finalist in etv show “sye” singer challenge.

Sahithi rendered a few background songs in telugu films like anaganaga oka dheerudu , sidhu from srikakulam , el police and pardhu. She also gave several albums. X factor organizers conducted open auditions in all important cities across the country to select contestants and in the process they heard about 15,000 singers. From the 1500 contestants selected in the first stage only 12 singers remained in the fray for the finals.Among those 12 sahithi is the only member from south india. The official website of x factor describes sahithi like this : a shy and reticent hyderabadi girl , 24 year old sahithi took a break from software engineering to participate in x factor. Sahithi has learnt the basics in carnatic music. This extremely versatile and melodic singer has not let anything affect her passion for singing .
